Investigating Apples

This was a fun activity where we practiced some very important skills.  We recorded our observations on this recording sheet.

We brought in apples to school and graphed our apples onto the graphing mats.  We were able to easily see we had more red apples.  We didn't have to count, we looked for the longest or tallest column.

We weighed our apples using the balance scales and wood cubes.

Then we counted the wood cubes and recorded it on our worksheet.

We also labeled the parts of our apples.  The children did a great job working together to complete this activity!
