Mrs. Windom's Kindergarten Supply List
Since parent letters are arriving soon, I thought I would post our supply list. I am going to send this out to a few parents and hopefully others will find us. I know phones will be ringing as soon as letters start arriving.
1. Small
Rest Mat: These can usually be found at Target or Amazon. Please do not get the super thick mats!
2. Glue
Sticks: at least 6 small and 2 large, more would be greatly
appreciated!
3. 2 boxes
of 24 Crayola Crayons: they are 50 cents at Walmart and Target, just get the regular crayons, not the washable.
4. 1 box of Crayola Markers: either thick or thin box of 10, again the regular ones are fine, not the washable.
5. Fiskar scissors
6. Child sized headphones: write your child's name on the headphones and put in a gallon Ziploc bag with their name on it.
4. 1 box of Crayola Markers: either thick or thin box of 10, again the regular ones are fine, not the washable.
5. Fiskar scissors
6. Child sized headphones: write your child's name on the headphones and put in a gallon Ziploc bag with their name on it.
7. Change of
Clothes: These need to be uniform colors and will be kept in
backpacks. (underwear and socks too!) Best to put them in a gallon Ziploc bag with your child's name on it.
8. Backpack: no wheels please!
These should be big enough for children to fit their folder and papers
inside without folding them.
Please choose 1 or 2 of the following items to send in. (I do not need 18 of each of these!)
- baby wipes
- freezer quart or gallon zip loc bags (Target or Publix store brands are good)
- zip loc sandwich bags (store brands are good)
- tissues
- hand sanitizer
You do not need to write their
names on the individual supplies.
I would strongly suggest that in addition to these items you also purchase a pencil box to keep at home and set it up with homework supplies. Your child will need pencils, crayons, gluesticks and scissors (strongly recommend Fiskars brand).
Happy Shopping!
